She earned her undergraduate degree in psychobiology from UCLA and her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. During her training, Dr. Shokeen completed a prestigious dermatology research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, gaining valuable experience in clinical research design and execution.

Meera Parikh is a clinical operations leader with over 15 years of experience managing complex clinical trials across diverse therapeutic areas. She has held key roles with major research sponsors, including a NASDAQ-listed life sciences company and a global clinical research organization, gaining expertise in the entire clinical study lifecycle—from start-up and site management to audits and closeouts.
Specializing in Phase II and III trials, Meera has contributed to studies that have significantly improved the lives of millions of Americans. Her philosophy prioritizes regulatory compliance and data integrity while fostering strong relationships with sponsors and principal investigators to drive effective communication and project success.
